Saturday Edition
Good morning everyone, and welcome to another stellar Saturday! We have tons of stuff to get into today, so make yourself comfortable, relax, and maybe get yourself a nice cuppa and a couple of bikkies if you like. đ
Now to start things off, letâs reveal the answer to yesterdayâs riddle. Letâs remind ourselves of it, shall we?
Champion archer, Quentin Quiver, has discovered a new, intriguing way of firing arrows. After travelling a few metres, his arrows stop - and return to him.
How does he do it?
We were pretty stumped by this one. Cheers again, member Suzi H for sending this through! But how did you fare? The answer is⌠he simply shoots arrows vertically into the air and waits for them to fall. If you managed to get the correct answer, well, then give yourself a pat on the back and head further down in the email and youâll spot a shoutout just for you!
Now, on to one of our favourite segments of the week, âWhat Would the Grandkids Say?â. Todayâs term is âyassifyâ. To yassify something or someone means to glam them up until theyâre almost unrecognisable. It comes from the millennial word âyassâ, meaning yes or strong approval, or excitement. The âyassificationâ process consists of applying an extreme amount of filters and edits to an image like lashes, contour, highlight, lipstick, long hair⌠you name it, using popular photo editing apps. It has been a big photo editing trend, so much so that a Twitter account called YassifyBot began churning out digitally enhanced images of
famous faces like Queen Elizabeth. Here are some of the most popular âyassifiedâ photos to give you a visual representation of it. Oh my, the terms are getting weirder and weirder, eh?

For over fifty years, the Tim Tam has been a popular choice in biscuits and is said to be found in one in every two Australian households; Australians eat about 45 million packets per year. To create this love, the factory in Western Sydney produces 3,000 biscuits per minute, and uses 20 tons of cream filling and 27 tons of chocolate coating, said to have a slight caramel taste, every working day.
