Almost A Month Away From Our Dual Enrollment Conference in Santa Barbara

For just $399, or $299 per person for groups of three or more, you could join us in Santa Barbara and hear from the experts on the importance of dual enrollment.

The keynote features California Community College Chancellor, Dr. Sonya Christian, who is leading the state initiative to achieve dual enrollment for all students starting in the ninth grade.

With sessions from "Early College Model: How to Achieve a 100% Graduation Rate" to "SCCRC Showcase of Successful Dual Enrollment Partnerships," there are sessions for everyone.

We’ve been hard at work to modify our application process and are looking forward to speaking with you about your programs!

All who implement the Career Choices series are welcome to apply to participate in the Career Choices Medal interview process to determine your level of achievement.

Schools that reach gold, silver, or bronze medal distinction will be recognized by Academic Innovations and will be rewarded with a press release written and shared with area media, a celebration box, trophy, and banner.

Be on the lookout for information in the coming weeks about how to apply to become a Career Choices Medal recipient.

Teacher Spotlight: Janet Mason and North Point Academy

Janet Mason and North Point Academy are a shining example of effectively using the Career Choices series as an independent study school, securing two consecutive Career Choices Medals.

“This program has become the centerpiece of our meetings with our students,” she said, “helping them create goals that meet their individual passions and skills and discover how the work they do at North Point Academy will help them reach those goals.” 

According to GreatSchools, their hard work is paying off as North Point places higher than the California State Average in graduation.
