Saturday Edition
Good morning, members! I (Vella) am so glad to be in your inbox this Saturday morning, and I hope you’re all feeling relaxed and excited for the weekend ahead. What have you got planned? I'm going to a friend's wedding later this afternoon, so I have a busy day ahead of me! Ah, another wedding. It seems like everyone's getting married these days! Should I start a betting pool on who's next? Just kidding. Well, to be honest, I love weddings. The excitement, the vows, the first dance... It's all so romantic. I hope the next wedding I go to is my own! Again, I'm just kidding! I'm not quite ready for that just yet. Or am I?
Anyway, enough about me and my love life. I know what you're all really here for – the answer to yesterday's riddle!
What two whole, positive numbers have the same answer when multiplied together as when added together?
The answer is... 2 and 2! Why? Because 2 x 2 = 4 and 2 + 2 = 4. So there you have it! A simple but fun riddle for you all. I hope you enjoyed it! Now, if you managed to get the answer correct, head further down this email for your shout-out!
Now, onto our next segment for the day, ‘What Would the Grandkids Say?’ Today, we are taking a look at the term 'FOMU', which stands for 'fear of messing up’. This term is often used by kids today who are afraid to make mistakes and the social embarrassment this causes. FOMU prevents people from taking risks and trying new things, leading to many missed opportunities. For example, a kid with FOMU might not want to try out for the school soccer team because they're afraid of not making it. But the truth is, you'll never know unless you try! So next time your grandkids have FOMU, encourage them to take a chance, and if they make a
mistake, tell them it's okay! We all make mistakes, and that's how we learn. Don’t confuse this one for the common term ‘FOMO’ which is fear of missing out!
Now, what's happening across Australia and the world today?

Oh, and before we forget, did you know that Health Insurers are increasing their premiums by an average of 2.90% on April 1? Although that doesn’t seem like a ‘large’ increase, for an Aussie over the age of 65 that’s an additional $167 per year for their health cover. It’s worse if you’re with one of the ‘Big 5 Funds’ - think BUPA, Medibank, HCF, nib and HBF - you could be paying a whopping $194 more per year for the exact same health cover. But that doesn’t have to be the case. Compare and save on your health insurance before April 1 here.*
