Tuesday Edition
Goooood morning members! How are you all doing on this fine and dandy Tuesday? Us? Well, if you can’t tell by the spring in our step, we are doing quite splendidly. There’s just something about longer, sunnier days that lift our mood. Do you know what else is lifting our mood at the moment? Looking forward to our trip next week to Brisbane! Yep, that’s right, us Sydney-siders are taking on good ol’ Brisbane to visit our beloved team member, April. It’s safe to say we cannot wait to touch down in the sunshine state, do some team brainstorming, work, and of course, getting our local tour guide to show us around the city 😉 If anyone here is a Brisbane local and has a few suggestions for restaurants, cafes or bars we should try out while we are there, please feel free to recommend them to us here.
Enough about us though, we know what you're here for today and it's for the answer to yesterdays riddle! Here's a reminder of what it was:
Forward I am heavy, but backward I am not. What am I?
The answer? 'A ton' spelt forward refers to the measurement (heavy) 'a ton' spelt backward is 'not'. Ha! A clever riddle don't you think? There were so many riddle masters, we were impressed! Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of this newsletter for your well-deserved shout-out. You deserve it.

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is brought to you by member @Pattycake. ‘As a child, my brothers and I would catch the bus to the valley baths, do our swimming training, and come home on the bus safely. I'm afraid those days are long gone. We would then walk to school. Simple, carefree days are what I miss.’
Wow, this is such a wonderful memory @Pattycake! Thank you so much for sharing. I used to love swimming training too, but my goodness it was cold when it came to autumn, let alone winter!
