Get Focused Stay Focused Conference Highlights the Needs and Benefits of Dual Enrollment

The Get Focused Stay Focused Conference brought together over 100 educators to discuss the importance of dual enrollment.

California Community College Chancellor, Dr. Sonya Christian, kicked things off discussing Vision 2030, a collaborative action plan that provides focus, equity, and direction to California community colleges and its students. 

“For each and every one of you, there’s a way for you to mobilize the entire campus community to make this a reality for all 436,000 (California) freshman students in high school,” stated Christian when discussing her plan to provide equitable access to dual enrollment for all students.

Sessions reviewed how the Get Focused Stay Focused curriculum works between secondary and post-secondary establishments for dual enrollment and the benefit to getting students to become more forward thinking.
