We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join an Indigenous Council in Cape York, Queensland on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to work in a stunning coastal location, surrounded by natural beauty. However, as a remote community, access is currently limited due to the wet season, requiring a flight to Weipa followed by a drive to the town. In this role, you will assist the Executive Manager of Finance with key financial operations, including grants administration, acquittals, preparing the insurance portfolio, finance budgeting, and reviewing systems for audit.
