The buildings industry is moving aggressively towards decarbonization, and digital, interoperable technologies are a fundamental necessity. DALI-2 has evolved—and with the addition of D4i and Zhaga Book 20—can deliver use cases and long-term reliability that building owners and managers want for both wired and wireless projects. If we want our slice of the pie as an industry, we need to deal with the elephant in the room: by perpetuating analog and proprietary controls we are making ourselves irrelevant in the decarbonization era.
