The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, in collaboration with Invest & Trade Western Australia and Austrade are coordinating Western Australian agribusiness participation in the upcoming WA Food and Beverage Trade Missions to South Korea and Japan. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in: - F&B Showcase South Korea - 5-6 March 2026 (Seoul) and/or
- FOODEX Japan – Tokyo, 9-13 March 2026
We
are looking for (South Korea): - Packaged Foods: sauces, dressings, edible oils and condiments, a range of snacks
- Dairy Products: UHT milk, frozen cream, butter, and cheese of all types
- Functional Food: Healthy snacks, meal replacements, health supplements
- Beverage: A range of beverages, including non-alcoholic wine and carbonated drinks
- Alcoholic Drinks: A range of alcoholic drinks
- Seafood and Red
Meat: Packaged product only

The Western Australian Government is supporting a bespoke trade promotion in China this week to capture export market opportunities for premium Western Australian wine. The WA Fine Wine Shanghai Showcase features 200 offerings from 30 leading wineries from Margaret River, the Great Southern, Swan Valley, Geographe, and Pemberton. The showcase, hosted in partnership with Wines of Western Australia, will connect prospective buyers with suppliers, while exploring the unique characteristics, diversity, and provenance of the boutique collection. International wine buyers have descended on Shanghai to source product for Chinese New Year, following the recent China International Import Expo (CIIE) and
for the world's biggest wine and spirits trade exhibition ProWine later this week. The Western Australian Government supported a WA display at CIIE, which included 24 businesses spanning alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, seafood, honey, dairy, fibre, and packaged goods.
