Project Update
February 2024

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street. 

Concrete footpaths and paving are continuing in Block 1 West and we are on track for completion towards the end of the month.  This will see a change to the current traffic arrangement, with all northbound traffic returning to Kelly Street and southbound being detoured via Main Street and works commencing on the eastern side.

Progress Summary

Block 1 - West

• Completion of median islands including planter boxes

• Continuation of footpath construction

Block 2 - East

• Saw cutting and removal of existing pavement

• Installation of stormwater drainage

Next period’s planned activity summary

Block 2 – West

• Installation of street furniture and finishing works

• Installation of new streetlights

Block 2 - East

• Concrete pavement saw cutting and removal

• Continuing storm water drainage 

• Installation of new water main

Block 1 - West

• Completion of footpaths including paver banding and Equine Walk of Fame plaques

• Completion of landscaping (trees, plants and ground cover)

• Completion of 1^st layer of asphalt, line marking and wheel stops

• Opening of northbound lane to traffic

Block 1 - East

• Establishment of site on eastern side of road
