Director of Community Relations and Strategic Partnerships
Kaelyn Bujnoch has been promoted to Director of Community Relations and Strategic Partnerships. In her new role, Kaelyn is responsible for community outreach and internal communications that support the development and execution of our strategic initiatives. She will focus on building collaborative partnerships with our growing community as well as engaging our employees as we also continue to grow as an organization.

Welcome New Physicians
HMSL is excited to welcome two new physicians to our staff. Please take a moment to read about Brian Walter, D.O. who joined Houston Methodist Sugar Land Neurology Associates and Andrew Johnsrud, M.D. who joined Houston Methodist Oncology Partners.
Lane Closures on Campus
As construction on MOB 4 continues, we have changes to the scheduled closures on the HMSL campus.
In order to expedite the construction of the new parking garage and MOB, the loop road will now be closed through Sunday, August 28. Please be sure to share this with patients as you book appointments. A map of the impacted area can be found below.
Heart Walk Coaches Needed
HMSL is proud to continue supporting the American Heart Association, and we need coaches to lead a team this year. As a Heart Walk Coach, you’ll lead a team of co-workers to spread the word and raise money for life saving research. Read more about this opportunity by clicking here.

Tuition Assistance
Houston Methodist has an exciting new partnership with Tuition.io, a company that provides support for borrowers who are managing student loan debt. Their services include public service loan forgiveness (PSLF). Employees who work at a non-profit organization for 10 years, who meet specific requirements may qualify for forgiveness of their remaining federal student loan balance. Click here to learn more.

Main ED Patient: "I went to another hospital's ER for the same issue two days prior to coming to Methodist ER. The Methodist ER in Sugar Land conducted more testing than the other hospital to investigate the issue I was having. The doctor who treated me was thorough and I did not feel rushed at any point during my treatment. Each support staff, such as nurses and administration I encountered, were extremely friendly and provided the best care during my visit. Definitely pleased with my experience."
