Thursday Edition
Good morning, folks! How is everyone this morning? Well, I hope! Believe it or not, it’s Thursday today and the end of year is creeping up on us. I know everyone says this, but where has the time gone? How is 2022 coming to an end? It feels like just yesterday I was sitting on the beach eating hot chips with my partner, Hugh, welcoming in 2022. And now here we are, about to welcome 2023! I’m sure each and every one of you feel the same, but if one of you does have a tip for making time go slower, I’m all ears. 😉
I feel like I’ve been rambling a lot in these newsletters between Christmas and New Years. I think it’s just because we aren’t sending as many newsletters as we normally do, so I have a lot to say! What did I tell you? Some pretty great stories in there if I can say so myself! The good news is, there’s plenty of good stuff to come, including a very sweet ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment thanks to member @Jan Robbo, a fantastic ‘Picture of the Day’ segment, thanks to member @Algieboy and a few nice memories in our ‘On This Day’ segment. For example, did you know that on this day back in 1994, Shane Warne took a hat-trick against England at the MCG? What a legend he was. May he rest in peace.
