This week we got our first glimpse of the work of the not very impressively named James Webb Space Telescope. Indeed, the images this NASA telescope produced may not even have impressed you much, particularly if your understanding of the cosmos is limited to the occasional Netflix blockbuster or the meandering of Captain James T. Kirk on the USS Enterprise, like most of us. It may have looked like nothing you’d ever seen, but in a manner that you couldn’t really put your finger on.

A fair go - we're on our way!

The road to the Industrial Agreement struck with the State Government has been far from smooth, but it clears the pathway to far better conditions for public health doctors and ultimately all Western Australians.

 

The latest edition of Medicus provides a detailed overview of the in-principle agreement covering the negotiation process, and the new, beneficial conditions for both doctors in training and Senior Doctors.


We welcome all feedback on the new deal reached, and encourage doctors to contact us directly to discuss how the improvements secured will impact their individual circumstances, or how to access conditions such as portability of entitlements, or the ability to break service.
