ALA Annual Schedule, June 2023

Hello everyone, if you're coming to ALA Annual, I hope you'll be able to come see us in booth 3416, and come to our author events!

I'll be back soon with the regular newsletter with our usual updates and ARC giveaways, but while I have you, here are some book suggestions for adding to your Pride displays.

Friday, June 23rd

Signings in the Norton booth, #3416

  • 6:15pm-7:00pm: Katherine Roy will sign copies of Making More: How Life Begins (Norton Young Readers).
  • 6:15pm-7:00pm: Yuval Zommer will sign copies of The Big Book of Nature Art (Thames & Hudson).

Saturday, June 24th

  • 10:00am-10:45am: Yuval Zommer will sign books at the B&T booth 2216.
  • 2:00pm-2:45pm: Tommie Smith, Derrick Barnes, and Dawud Anyabwile will sign copies of Victory. Stand!: Raising My Fist for Justice (Norton Young Readers) in Norton booth 3416.
  • 2:40pm-3:10pm: Come to the Book Buzz Stage on the exhibit floor to hear about forthcoming Adult and Childrens/Teen books from Norton and our client publishers.
  • 3:30pm-4:20pm: Sean O’Brien, author of White House Clubhouse (Norton Young Readers), will join 3 other authors for a "Magnificent Middle Grade" Panel on the Pop Top Stage in the Exhibit Hall. A signing will follow. 

Sunday, June 25th

  • 3:00pm-4:00pm: Jarrett & Jerome Pumphrey will sign copies of Link & Hud: Heroes By a Hair (Norton Young Readers) in the Norton booth 3416.

  • 5:30pm-6:15pm: Bonnie Jo Campbell will sign ARCs of her forthcoming novel, The Waters (Norton). Signing in the Norton booth, #3416.

Saturday, June 24th

  • 1:00pm-2:00pm: Ghassan Zeineddine, author of Dearborn: Stories (Tin House), will participate in the United for Libraries “First Author, First Book” debut author panel in McCormick Place, room W185d.
  • 2:40pm-3:10pm: Come to the Book Buzz Stage on the exhibit floor to hear about forthcoming Adult and Childrens/Teen books from Norton and our client publishers.

Monday, June 26th

  • 8:30am-10:00am, Bonnie Jo Campbell will participate in the LibraryReads “Your Morning is Booked” panel, in McCormick Place, Room W175ab.
