Did you know a lion’s roar can be heard from over 8 kilometres away? The sound produced from each roar reaches 114 decibels—roughly 25 times louder than a gas-powered lawn mower! It’s all thanks to the shape of their vocal cords, allowing them to produce more noise with less effort.
