Good morning and a very happy Sunday to you all. What a delight to be back in your inbox again this week! I (Maddie) hope you’re all well and have had a good week so far. I feel like everyone I speak to lately is feeling a little doom and gloom, and it’s hard not to be when the world is in its current state. So, I want this newsletter to be a nice little escape. Here’s a little uplifting quote for you all.
‘May the flowers remind us why the rain was necessary’.
I remembered this quote on one of my lunchtime walks this week. It was a sunny afternoon after a rainy morning, and I spotted a few gorgeous flowers outside a house. They were all different colours and they were beautiful. It was a nice reminder that even the prettiest of things need some rain to bloom!
Before I jump into our wrap of the week, I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of our SDC Rewards members. You know who you are! These members left us some of the most heart-touching reviews this week, and some even made me cry. I would share every single review with you all here if I could, but I simply do not have the space. I just want to share one sentence sent in to us by member @DLHM who said, ‘For me, joining the SDC Rewards membership gives me the feeling of belonging to a wonderful, diverse family.’ If you have the financial means to do so, you too can subscribe to our SDC Rewards premium offering for just $5.99 a month. I know not all of you can do so, and that
is absolutely fine! But if you can, it means the world to Jon, the team and myself.
