Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another beautiful Wednesday! Any plans for today? It's midweek again, the perfect day to catch up on the things you’ve been meaning to do but haven’t had the time for. I (Vella), for one, will give my dog (Cocoy Martin) a much overdue bath. It's something I've been meaning to do since Monday, and I'm glad I can finally tick it off my to-do list! My dog enjoys baths, and I love seeing him all clean and smelling fresh, so it's a win-win for both of us. He's such a good boy.
Anyway, enough about me, let's get into today's newsletter!
Starting off today, we have your weekly dose of Coles, Woolies, ALDI, and IGA deals to help you save money while you’re doing your weekly shop.

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is thanks to our dear member @SeniorSnoopy. They shared some fond memories of their childhood, and this one is our favourite: ‘I remember sailing from the UK to Perth in 1965. The fun we had staying in Nissan Huts at Graylands Immigration Hostel. Staying out playing with my friends until the street lights came on and still not wanting to come inside for dinner.’
Oh, to be young and carefree again! Running around and playing outside until the street lights came on and then coming home to a hot meal. Thank you for sharing this wonderful memory with us, @SeniorSnoopy!

Having a dip unaware of a local basking in the background….
This has to be one of the most terrifying photos I’ve ever seen. @Algieboy shared this photo in our photography forum, and according to him, they were touring the Northern Territory at the time and with the weather being hot and humid, a dip seemed like a good idea. His friends didn’t notice the crocodile lurking in the background. The crocodile does seem to be quite a distance away from the swimmers.
Still, I can’t imagine how they felt when they saw the photo later and realised how close they had come to becoming lunch. 😱 This photo is both captivating and alarming. Thank you for sharing this one with us!
