Clinical Research Data Sharing Alliance

CRDSA’s Data Protection Work Group white paper “A Review of BioPharma Sponsor Data Sharing Policies and Protection Methodologies” is now available. This white paper examines clinical trial data contribution policies and the data protection methodologies applied to protect patient privacy. Information published by 29 biopharma sponsors was collected across three data-sharing platforms, collated by sponsor size. Results showed that large sponsor contribution policies can provide helpful benchmarks for medium and smaller sponsors.

Four components that set the foundation for the Internet of Clothing ecosystem

How Can the Internet of Clothing Benefit Our Wellbeing and Environment?

The upcoming World Cup 2022 is going to be a live demonstration of how high-tech sportswear can improve player performance. Coaches will be able to tell the exact distance players keep from each other. And trainers, during practice and matches, will be able to get data on a player’s heartbeat and breathing to measure exertion. By receiving data transmitted directly from the players’ clothing to smartphones, coaches and trainers can make smarter decisions in conjunction with what they observe on the field.
