Friday Edition
Well good morning members, how are we all on this terrific Friday morning? Well we hope! After all, the weekend is just around the corner! If you’re feeling good then that’s fantastic, we love to hear it. If not, we hope things are on the way up for you! Can’t have our SDC family feeling glum now can we? And if you need someone to talk to, please know we are always here. So let’s start the morning off strong and dive into what we have in store for today, starting with the answer to our Thursday riddle!
Now we have to begin by apologising to you all, as yesterday we had a bit of a brain fluff and forgot to include the link to the riddle masters on the forum… So let's take a quick look at our Thursday riddle shall we?
"Your life will be spared, if you can solve this simple problem." The King told his prisoner.
"On your cell floor, the guard has placed six bags of gold coins. Bags 1 and 2 each contain 50 coins. Between them, bags 3 and 4 contain 75 coins, and bags 5 and 6 each hold 2 coins. Your task is to keep as many of the coins as you can. In 1 minute, which of the bags should you throw away?"
The answer to this one, shared with us by the wonderful Suzi H, was hidden in plain sight. The answer is…none! If you want to keep as many coins as possible, you best not throw any away. We also saw some people discussing transferring the coins into a single bag so you could throw the empty ones away, and we can't argue with that logic! Despite our missing link, it seems that there is just no stopping you guys from cracking the case once again. Well then, I guess we better reward your correct answers with a shout out eh? If you got the right answer, we have shouted you out down below!
Now keep those thinking caps on folks, we aren’t done with riddles for today! Try this one on for size, it was sent in by member Sherill L.
Old Mother Twitchett had but one eye, and a long tail which she let fly; Every time she went over a gap, she left a bit of her tail in a trap.
Oooh this one is fantastic, the imagery is so mystical and cryptic! You know the drill folks, head over to the riddle masters link thread here (not to worry, we’ve linked it this time 😂) and submit your answers. If you manage to answer correctly, you’ll find a shoutout waiting for you in tomorrow's newsletter!

With so many supermarkets to choose from, deciding where to shop for weekly groceries has become difficult. Choosing where to shop is more than just about the products you buy; you also have to consider the customer experience that a retail business can provide. This is why customers don't hold back when they express their dissatisfaction with certain changes at their favourite supermarkets.
A Woolworths shopper has sparked a debate after noticing a significant change to her local supermarket's sales labels. Facebook user Sharon shared a photo of a biscuit display with several items on sale, but she noticed that the price tags had been replaced with small yellow signs rather than large yellow stickers. The post sparked a heated debate, with many agreeing that they did not approve of the change, while others welcomed it, claiming that it looks cleaner...

Compare Health Cover Now*
Three health insurance rate rises in the space of 18 months are what Aussies are being slapped with after a two year long global pandemic. Aussies were paying an average of $230.26 more for their health insurance after the 2021 price hikes. And now from 1 April 2022, a single person over the age of 65 will pay an additional average of about $75* more per year, with families paying an additional average of about $154* more per year.
What few people realise is that there are government rebates out there that could save you hundreds of dollars per year on your cover*. For eligible Aussies, the starting cost of a combined hospital & extras policy comes in at under $23 / week (or $3.22 per day) once the rebate has been claimed.
See if you're eligible for the latest government rebates to get health insurance from under $23 a week.
