NEWS UPDATE30 December 2022 Publishers noteThe end of the year is upon us and for many, 2022 has delivered a welcome change to the two previous years. Whilst we speak about the pandemic boom for recreational boating, we have to concede it wasn’t the same for everyone. Many businesses did it tough, as did individuals. Here is looking forward to ongoing growth and prosperity for all. Michelle called on Boxing day to have a chat. She believed she was about 4 degree’s south of the equator, with her target being 25 degrees south, to avoid any potential cyclones. That said, she agreed that she is doing well and in no way was going to lose sight of her target. She still doesn't have nav lights, she lost those earlier this month, but she did get rid of the shark off her deck. She said that Roger ‘Clouds’ Badham was her savior, guiding and motivating her. Above all, she said that he provided her with the information she needed, and the best route to get her to her target. This week we have some mixed news we have reported on; and others we have not reported on. It goes without saying that our lifestyle does have its tragic and sad moments. We have certainly seen that this week. It is fantastic that the government agencies, association bodies, and many of us as business owners and individuals do our bit to promote safe recreational boating.
