Good morning, members! It’s Thursday, and I (Vella) hope you’re all having a great week. I’ve got my morning cuppa with a bit of honey to give me that extra boost. Have you got your favourite morning beverage? No? Well, you’ve got time; grab it before we go on an exciting ride through the newsletter! Today's first order of business is to reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle. For those who need a quick refresher, here it goes:
I am a three-digit number. My tens digit is five more than my ones digit. My hundreds digit is eight less than my tens digit. What number am I?
And the answer is... 194! Why, you ask? If the tens digit is five more than the ones digit, that makes it 9 (5+4). Then, if the hundreds digit is eight less than the tens digit, it’s 1 (9-8). Put them together, and you get 194! Oh boy, that was a head-scratcher, wasn't it? As usual, many of you cracked it, and correct answers earn a shout-out at the end of this newsletter.
Next up, it's time to share a Fascinating Fact! Did you know that the Eiffel Tower grows during summer? It's true! The heat causes the iron to expand, making the tower grow up to 38 centimetres. Interesting, eh?
