Dear PACER Plus community, PACER Plus was designed to strengthen regional trade and foster economic cooperation across the Pacific. The role of the private sector is crucial in driving intra-Pacific trade and unlocking the benefits of this agreement. Since the beginning, the PACER Plus Development and Economic Cooperation (DEC) Work Programme has worked to create a strong foundation for trade by focusing on regulatory reforms, building capacity, and improving trade systems. Our goal is to empower Pacific businesses to export, access new markets, and engage in global trade. While these structural changes take time, we've already seen encouraging results. This newsletter celebrates some
of the success stories of SMEs that have overcome challenges and seized new opportunities through PACER Plus support. The private sector remains central to the success of PACER Plus, and we are committed to working together to realise a prosperous, resilient Pacific. Tagio tumas, Roy Lagolago
