Dear friends and colleagues
Russia's aggressive warfare against a free and independent Ukraine reminds us of the importance of freedom, human rights, and democracy.
Lies breed lies in the attacker's war propaganda. For art and academia, it is crucial to open space for more perspectives and raise doubts behind stubborn reasoning, both for oneself and others. Let´s hope that even petrified Russian politicians and generals can be pressured to doubt their narrative and ask themselves if they know what they think they know - or at least claim to know?
The AEC continues its strong commitment to internationalisation and cooperation. In this newsletter, you will find several updates and valuable information about ongoing activities in higher music education in Europe. I wish you a stimulating reading!
