MARINE BUSINESS NEWS UPDATE

NEWS UPDATE

16 September 2022

Publishers note

News services this week have been dominated with information about the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. Marine Business News would like to pay tribute to Her Majesty’s unwavering commitment and devotion throughout her 70-year reign. Understandably, the Southampton Boat Show have announced that the event will be suspended for one day on the 19th for her Majesty’s funeral.

This week was a good week for the marine industry. Feedback is that things are moving forward in a good way. The level of business enquiry remains positive and steady. Supply chain issues have not gone away, and like almost every other industry we are adapting to new processes and procedures to cope with that.

I received a surprising call on Wednesday.  What started with me thinking I was about to receive another spam call turned out to be a very special one. I love having a chat, and the occasional and impromptu call from a friend is always welcome. This week however I received a call that I can only say was unexpected. I invite you to read my story in Marine Business News.

Lots to read and learn about. We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of our “Marine Business News update”.
