Only one vehicle can enter at a time. EZ Tag registrations are still being worked on. Thank you for your patience.

We are shining the light on several departments this week. Perinatal Nurse's Week is celebrated from October 10-16. In Labor and Delivery, the perinatal nurses take care of obstetric emergency room patients, antepartum patients who sometimes stay for weeks or months, in addition to patients who come in and quickly deliver a baby to leave the next day. They monitor the mother and baby through the labor process or during the time in the OR through the two hours of recovery afterwards. The L&D team is like a family and get to be a part of some of the most special times in our patient's lives.

We are also celebrating National Case Management Week. This year's theme is keeping the person at the heart of collaborative care. Case managers are coordinating many aspects of care to have the best outcome for our patients after their acute care stay. They are often faced with many challenges such as finances, family's inability to care for their loved ones, social issues, homelessness, etc. Case managers focus on unparalleled care.

The Sterile Processing Department sterilizes and prepares all surgical instruments for the surgeries in the hospital. They also sterilize the clinic department instruments that need to be sterile as well, for any procedures. While they service the whole hospital for any and everything surgical instrumentation wise, their number one customer is the Operating Room. The department works hard at making sure our patients have the safest surgery and procedures possible.

This week we are also celebrating Physicians Assistants and Dialysis Technicians. Click here to read about all those who are celebrating.
