EverNow: A Festival During Kambarang is set to dazzle visitors from tonight for five evenings, bringing together stunning visual installations and family-friendly activations celebrating Noongar culture. A free event, the inaugural EverNow drew over 100,000 attendees in 2023, with this year’s program to include a new installation from world-renowned pyrotechnics company, Groupe F. Their show From the Light Flow: Bena Koorliny will light up Burswood Park, and returning favourites Song Circle (also at Burswood Park) and Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak at Kings Park and Botanic Garden, will complete the festival
program. EverNow is a state-owned, or ‘homegrown’ event, delivered by Tourism Western Australia and produced by Perth Festival. Homegrown events are integral to Tourism WA’s strategy to create a robust calendar of uniquely Western Australian events to entice out-of-state visitors to travel to WA throughout the year. EverNow takes place just before the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit and will give hundreds of conference delegates an opportunity to experience a piece of the event and learn more about WA’s ancient Aboriginal history, while celebrating the Noongar season of birth and renewal,
Kambarang. With WTTC only a few days away, we look forward to showcasing all that our Dream State has to offer to global leaders in government, tourism and trade, as we celebrate WA’s unique Aboriginal tourism industry, and highlight aviation and infrastructure investment opportunities, to world decision makers at this prestigious event. Operators can catch all the WTTC action online – see details below. Lastly, this week some exciting new events and elements were announced for another dream homegrown event, Pair’d Margaret River Region. This delicious wine and food festival will unfold over four days from 14-17 November, and promises to be
an incredible opportunity for all our industry in Australia’s South West.
Warm regards,
