No images? Click here Hi friend, Last time I wrote to you, I shared news of our new Sudan Response Project, providing legal support to people fleeing Sudan’s devastating conflict. In just a few weeks, we’ve trained over 100 lawyers, and have already received over 90 referrals for people trapped in Sudan, desperate to reach safety and family in the UK. Today, as our team prepares to take on urgent cases, we need your help to keep this life-saving work going: Friend, these cases are devastating. Many involve unaccompanied children like Faris, Hamza, Ahmed and Tahir, trapped in the crossfire in Khartoum. Their father has passed away, and their mother has gone missing since the war started — her fate is unknown. These four boys are left alone, risking their lives daily just to find basic work to survive. No child should ever have to face such horrors. Faris, Hamza, Ahmed and Tahir are just four of the many clients on our waitlist, all of whom are in desperate need of our support. The obstacles they face are immense—trapped in war-torn areas and struggling to obtain vital documents necessary to access family and safety. The risks are especially severe for women and girls, with the UN reporting sexual abuse at a ''staggering scale''. As the world turns away, we’re here to stand with these families – but we can’t do it alone. Please, will you make an urgent donation today to help provide life-saving legal support for refugees fleeing Sudan? Your contribution, whatever the size, will make a real difference as we fight to bring these families to safety. Thank you so much, Friend.
