SSLN has been busy...

Dear ,

We're a quarter way through the year and SSLN has been busy these past months. Our newest member countries have completed their PSATs, we have hosted a number of learning activities, and have produced more great resources with the help of our Champions.

We have big plans for the rest of 2023!

But first, we need your help !

As part of an evaluation of SSLN, we'll be asking champions to complete a survey.

Please look out for an email from the Bixal evaluation team requesting you to complete this survey.

Your assistance in completing the survey is greatly appreciated

Inception meetings and PSATs completed for our newest countries

Inception meetings were held for our newest member countries from October 2022 to February 2023.

During the inception meetings, these countries were able to complete their Prevention Self-Assessment Tools (PSATs and PSAT Lites).

Nigeria SSLN Champions updated their country HIV prevention action plan and learning agenda

Champions got together in Abuja for a two-day meeting this March.

These updates were made based on gaps identified through the AGYW PSAT and the PSAT Lites, which were completed in 2022.

Nigeria is ready to start implementing activities to improve HIV prevention programme performance, including cross-country and peer-to-peer learning and sharing.

SSLN is hosting its first Pan-Prevention Meeting

We are expecting 180 SSLN Champions from 15 countries plus 30 global and regional stakeholders.

The objectives of the Pan-Prevention meeting are aligned with the GPC HIV 2025 Prevention Roadmap.

We look forward to strengthening networks, aligning individual and collective needs, learning and disseminating promising practices from the Roadmap Activities.

SSLN's website is launching soon

This promises to be a home for our upcoming events, member country pages, contact details, and more.

You'll be able to access photos, videos, documents and news.

East Africa sub-regional workshop

The first sub-regional workshop took place in March 2023 with Country Champions from Kenya, Malawi, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

This was an opportunity for countries to review their country plans and priorities, jointly problem solve and share solutions, identify best practices within the sub-region, and validate their technical assistance plans and learning agendas.
