Good morning

Good morning, and a festive Friday to you all! Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? I (Vella) and the SDC team understand that sometimes, the festive season isn't all sunshine and rainbows, and that's okay. If you need a virtual shoulder to lean on, our forum is wide open. We’ve got countless lovely members who are more than happy to make a friend! Don't forget we also have an article on surviving the silly season written by retired psychologist and member @Joy Straw. And for those moments when words might not be enough, remember that there are mental health helplines available. May your Christmas be filled with peace, love, and happiness! Now, let's unveil the final riddle of the week:

I’m full of holes but strong as steel. What am I?

Ooh, that's a tricky one! If you know the answer, head over to the Riddle Masters thread here. If you get it correct, you’ll find a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter.

Today’s memory shared by member @SeniorSnoopy will tug at your heartstrings. ‘My mum passed away in April 1975 when I was just 14. Her last Christmas present was a large Humphrey B. Bear that I had seen at our local newsagents. She saw my face when I saw it and put money down on it that day to make sure I got it for Christmas. I was so excited on Christmas morning...’ Aww! Reading this brought tears to my eyes. A mother’s love truly knows no bounds! Do you have cherished memories you'd like to share, too? Feel free to drop them right here in the forum.
