Men's Health WeekMen’s Health Week is celebrated around the world each June, offering a chance to pause and focus on health and wellbeing. From Monday 15 to Friday 21 June, we’re marking the week with a program of free, come and try classes alongside a special art exhibition in our gallery space. It’s a great opportunity to try something new, connect with others, and take a moment for your wellbeing. Classes on offer include Stretch and Strengthen, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention and Chair Yoga.
Faces and Places exhibitionInspired by a lifetime of meaningful moments, Faces and Places is a collection of acrylic portraits and landscapes by our very own Drawing & Painting Tutor, Gordon Sonnenberg. Running in our upstairs gallery space until 19 June, the exhibition invites you to connect with stories of people and place - all while supporting the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth. Mindful Moves for Brain HealthJoin us for a fun and engaging seated movement class based on the Ageless Grace program. Using music, movement and playful exercises you'll support brain health, memory, balance and overall wellbeing all while having fun and connecting with others!Thursdays at 2.00pm from 30 July
Oil and Acrylic Painting short courseLearn the fundamentals of oil and acrylic painting in this 6-week course, exploring colour, technique, and creative approaches to confidently create your own artworks. Thursdays at 10.00am from 30 July
Treaty Community TalkLearn about Treaty, Gellung Warl, and how communities can support and get involved. There will be time for discussion and questions. Tuesday 7 July, 6.00pm - 7.00pm
