Age of Opportunity 
Launch of a new CSJ report on Older Age, with Steve Webb MP, Minister for Pensions

On 29th June 2011 the CSJ will be launching Age of Opportunity: A policy strategy for tackling poverty and social exclusion in later life, a new report from the CSJ Older Age Working Group. This report is the second and final part of the CSJ Older Age Review, drawing upon the publication of The Forgotten Age in November 2010, which broadened the debate on older age by outlining how loneliness, isolation and social breakdown have fuelled poverty in later life for millions of Britain's pensioners for too long. Building on these findings, Age of Opportunity will offer policy recommendations aimed at addressing the plight of Britain's pensioners, while also celebrating the role of older people in society.
