Diabfrail LatAm: Participant subjects’ recruitment initiatedAfter several months of delay in the start of the DIABFRAIL-LATAM study due to the global pandemic situation, the recruitment of the first participants has started in the Javeriana University of Colombia. Peru, Mexico and Chile will start their recruitment shortly. According to the project's work plan, this entity will include approximately 15 subjects per week until completion. The recruitment stage of this study is projected to last 6 months and include 350 subjects. This course, organized by the Spanish Institute of Older People and Social Services (Imserso), is aimed at training the participants for the implementation of the project at the local level, highlighting the importance of the participation of older people in this process, as well as the cross-cutting and multisectoral approach of the methodology proposed by the WHO.
