Friday Edition
Good morning members, and welcome to another fantastic Friday morning! Well, we certainly hope it’s fantastic, but if it’s not, keep in mind that the weekend is just around the corner! Now, let’s get into some of today’s activities, starting off with the third and final riddle of the week! This one from member @Suzi H. had us stumped, so let’s see if you can do better than we did.
When asked to name their favourite foods, Jill, Jane and Joanna chorused: “Beetroot, lettuce, and coughdrops.”
Added Joanna: “That statement needs qualifying. In fact, each of us eats only two of the foods. And each food is eaten by only two of us.” “Jill eats beetroot. I don’t eat coughdrops.”
Which foods does Jane prefer?
Oooh, this is a tricky one. Any ideas? If you’ve got an answer ready, head on over to the riddle masters thread here and submit your answer. If you get the answer correct, we’ll give you a shout out in tomorrow’s newsletter!

Remember when Vegemite and Kraft Cheese Spread came in small re-usable drinking glasses? After we finished the spread, we used the container as a drinking glass. It’s funny how we never drank from the good glasses back in the day because they were reserved for special occasions! Does anyone still do this?

Your little digit has a lot of power. According to hand therapist Laurie Rogers, via The New York Times, “you’d lose 50% of your hand strength, easily, without your pinky finger.” That’s because it aids the ring finger by providing the power to grip and make a fist, while your index, middle finger, and thumb are best for grabbing and pinching.
