NEWS UPDATE

02 April 2026

Publishers note

An early eNews this week, with the Easter long weekend upon us.

Our sincere thanks to the almost 10,000 marine rescue volunteers around Australia who, many no doubt, will be giving up valuable family time to support those in need. Their contribution is significant, particularly during what is traditionally a busy period on our waterways.

We are now less than two months away from what shapes as a notable trilogy of marine events in Southeast Queensland. ASMEX is followed by SCIBS, which in turn is followed by Marinas26. For those involved in the sector, it is a substantial run of activity. As for me, I do suffer from a degree of FOMO, so I will be attending all three.

It has been another busy news week, and we trust there is something here that aligns with your interests. Like all good products, stories often begin with a simple idea and develop from there. If you have something worth sharing, we encourage you to reach out to our newsroom.

For those looking to contribute more regularly or raise the profile of their business, speak with us about how we can assist. There are a range of ways we can help bring your story to market.

For those heading out on the water, enjoy your time, but please ensure you heed any weather warnings in your area and plan accordingly.

We do hope you enjoy this week’s news.
