OC Event Promotions on KATU

Oregon City Tourism arranged with KATU to feature both the First City Celebration and the Oregon Trail Brewfest on their AM Northwest (9AM Show) and Afternoon Live (2PM Show). The First City Celebration's broadcast was on 7/15 and the Oregon Trail Brewfest's TV appearance will happen on 7/22

Congratulations to the Downtown Oregon City Association and to OC Brewing for what we believe will be successful events!

 

Debut of the OC Travel Planner & Travel Guide!

We are very excited about the new Oregon City Travel Planner and Travel Guide to hit the streets in July. The Oregon City Visitor Guide will premiere at the First City Celebration event on July 16th and the OC Travel Planner will make its initial appearance at welcome centers across the State very shortly within the month.

The Travel Planner will be distributed through a partnership with Travel Oregon and Mt. Hood Territory. It will also be available for order on the travel Oregon City website.

 

KATU Outdoor Recreation :30 Ad Spot

The light on Oregon City’s tourism opportunities gets brighter with another new TV ad on KATU, that features outdoor recreation within the community. The TV commercial highlights Oregon City’s eNRG Kayaking, FishDR, Oregon City Golf Course, as well as off-road biking and trails at the new Newell Creek Canyon Nature Park.

Visitors - Summer visitation is up since April. Our digital marketing efforts are beginning  to show results. Please keep in mind the low numbers in January and February are due to a lack of analytics in place at that time. Also, please note at the time of this report, we are already trending even higher for July!

Engagement - This is a measure of how many visitors actually clicked on an out-bound link to our partners website. In this graph you can see that we did not have engagement tracking in place until April. July's numbers are already surpassing June!
