Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members! Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday! We can’t believe it's midweek again already! Time really does fly when you're having fun! Speaking of fun, it's time for our good morning greeting in a different language. Today's language recommendation is thanks to member @Esma R., who suggested we learn a little bit of Chinese! Here it goes, Zǎo shàng hǎo (Zhao Shung How)! We hope you're all enjoying learning new languages with us.
And before we get to today's activity, did you know that on this day in 1997, Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris? We'll be sure to take a moment to remember her today. And as always, our forum is open for anyone who wants to share their thoughts or stories about her.
Now, let's get into today's activity! First off, we have this week's deals from Coles, Woolworths, ALDI, and IGA. There are some brilliant bargains on there, so make sure to check them out!
Next, we have your second riddle of the week courtesy of member Tony V! It's a tough one, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:
A cowboy rode into town on Friday, stayed three days, and rode out again on Friday. How did he do that?
How's that for a brain teaser?! If you think you know the answer, head on over to our riddle masters thread here. Anyone who gets the correct answer will get a shout-out in tomorrow's newsletter! Good luck, folks!

Australia Remember When FB Group
Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ memory is thanks to member @AUSJACKO. ‘Building a massive bonfire with all the other children in the street at the nearest Park and saving your money and buying as many thunders, pennies, tom thumbs, 12 ball shooters, skyrockets, etc., as you could afford. Roaming the streets on your Malvern Star Dragster Bike & letting all your stash off on Cracker Night. The sweet smell
of gunpowder & smoke in the air. Then getting up early the next day and collecting all the duds that did not go off the night before, with the short wicks.’ Click here to read the rest of this lovely memory.
This is such a great memory! It sounds like the community really came together to celebrate Cracker Night. Oh, to be a kid again. Thank you, @AUSJACKO, for sharing this with us.

Not too long ago, there was a woman who wanted to know how her husband would react if she left without telling him where she had gone.
She wrote him a letter saying she was tired of him and didn’t want to live with him anymore.
After writing the letter, she put it on the table in the bedroom and climbed under the bed to hide until her husband got home.
Oh, this is funny and adorable at the same time! A big thank you to member @Luckyus for sharing this one. Check out the rest of the joke here.
