UAE Officials Discuss Energy Investment with US Vice President

While in Washington, DC for the Global Energy Forum, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Executive Chairman of investment company XRG, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, met with Vice President JD Vance at the White House. During the meeting, Dr. Al Jaber highlighted the UAE’s plans to invest $440 billion in US energy. He was joined by Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba.

The UAE officials underscored the importance of UAE-US cooperation to shape the future of energy systems, power the expansion of AI and create economic growth.

At the Global Energy Forum, HE Mariam Almheiri, CEO of 2PointZero, joined global leaders to address scaling energy infrastructure needed to power AI’s rapid growth. She emphasized the UAE’s leadership to power this global transformation, driven by initiatives such as the new 5GW UAE-US AI Campus in Abu Dhabi and the Stargate Project.

UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Discusses Bilateral Cooperation with US Leaders

During a recent visit to Washington, DC, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs met with senior Trump Administration officials and Members of Congress to discuss the vital US-UAE strategic partnership.

HH Sheikh Abdullah met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, key members of Congress and US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick to advance cooperation on regional issues.

Discussions also included ways to deepen the bilateral economic relationship, including the UAE’s commitment to invest $1.4 trillion in the US over the next ten years.
