Eating Around HMSL

In 2022, we introduced many new food options to HMSL. The team in Food and Nutrition wants to remind you of the convenient options available to you 24/7 and share a sneak peek into what’s in store for 2023!

  • Farmer’s Fridge: Grab fresh salads, bowls, wraps and other items in Sweetwater Pavilion. You can order ahead on the app and pick up by simply typing in a confirmation code, or order right at the machine.

  • Bleni: Delicious smoothies are available at the kiosk near Main 2nd Floor Starbucks. They come in a variety of flavors and are even customizable to the consistency you like your smoothies.

  • Byte Fridge: These fridge locations are stocked with many of the same grab-and-go food and drink options you can find in the Garden Café. They are conveniently located outside the café and next to the Main 2nd Floor Starbucks.

  • COMING SOON — MyEatz: Order ahead at various locations throughout the hospital via an easy-to-use app! The app will first roll out to the three Starbucks locations on campus, but plans are to roll it out at the Garden Café later this year.

  • COMING SOON — Self Checkout: A new self-service checkout option will be installed at the Garden Café to help save you time when you are grabbing your meal.

  • COMING SOON — Yo-Kai Ramen: A customizable ramen kiosk will offer fresh ramen tailored to your taste buds.

PATIENT COMPLIMENTS

Wound Care Center: "I am so impressed with every professional with whom I've met on my team. Each of them have taken the best care of me. It starts with the registration desk when I arrive and it gets even better as I have contact with each of the nurses and with Dr. Ali and especially with Jose, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy technician, as most of his time is taking care of me during the lengthy procedure. Because of my team and their treatment of me so patiently and so kindly, it has made time fly - despite the long drive and the several weeks of procedures. I'm feeling that there is a real hope that my wound will completely be gone and out of my life for good."

Main 5 West: "I received excellent care from helpful nurses and one special doctor — Dr. Oolut. I highly recommend this hospital's excellent service and care to others."

Childbirth Center: "The nurses and doctors were really attentive and efficient. My questions were answered and my concerns were addressed. Overall, it was a very pleasant hospital stay and delivery experience."
