VIVID: The NSCAD University Newsletter for Alumni and Friends No images? Click here What's Inside? Message from President Peggy Shannon, PhD Hello Friends, What an exciting time to be part of the NSCAD community. Our Dean of Students and Academic Dean are preparing with Faculty and technicians to welcome students in just a few short weeks. This is one of my favourite times of year – the return to campus. Seeing our studios and halls full of students and imagining their potential keeps me motivated. I am thrilled to share some exciting updates from our recent travels across Europe. A small team had the privilege of visiting London, Germany, and Greece. We met with our amazing alumni, dedicated supporters, and potential partners. The positive feedback and innovative ideas affirm that NSCAD is on an incredible trajectory – a path established in the Seriously Creative Plan which we launched last month. Our plan is not only resonating with our community but also opening new doors for collaboration and growth. With these new opportunities, we are poised to expand our horizons and further solidify our role as a global leader in art, craft, media, and design. I am excited about the future and confident that together, we will continue to push boundaries and achieve remarkable things. Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to NSCAD.
