Thursday Edition
Good morning members, and happy Fri- oops, Thursday! Whew, is it obvious that I (Vella) am a little excited about the weekend? Well, it's okay because you all are too, right? I knew it! I'm looking forward to everything I have planned for this weekend, including a movie night with my family and a nice meal out with my partner.
I firmly believe that we should have something to look forward to every day or at the end of the week, no matter how small it is. It's the little things that make life worth living, don't you think? I look forward to people's birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and, of course, chatting with you all every morning. So thank you for being a part of our community.
Now then, let's get started with today's newsletter. First things first, it's time to give you all the answer to yesterday's tricky riddle. For those of you who don't remember, the riddle goes:
Who eats me will be eaten by the one who sent me. What am I?
The answer is a fish hook! You lot didn't seem to have much trouble with this one. A lot of you got the answer correct! And you know what that means, right? You get a shout-out! So stick around, and you'll find a shout-out waiting for you at the end of the newsletter.
Next on the agenda for today, it's time to share a Fascinating Fact!
Did you know that frogs don't drink like we do? That's right - frogs drink by submerging part of their bodies in water and 'absorbing' the water through their skin. This process is known as cutaneous absorption. Amazing, right?

Four old-timers were playing their weekly game of golf.
One remarked how nice it would be to wake up on Christmas morning, roll out of bed and, without an argument, go directly to the golf course, meet his buddies and play a round.
His mates all chimed in and said, ‘Let’s do it. We’ll make it a priority - figure out a way and meet here early, Christmas morning.’
Oh, this one is for all the married golfers out there! A big thank you to member @mick.idgaf for this hilarious joke. Check out the rest of the joke here.
