Hey, hey, it’s Saturday! It’s so lovely to see you all on this wonderful morning. I (Vella) am pumped for the weekend. My bedroom is in desperate need of a clean-up, so that's my project for the day. I believe that a tidy space equals a tidy mind. Nothing beats feeling organised, right? But before we get carried away talking about our weekend plans, let's reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle.
A butcher goes to the market with $100 cash. He has to buy exactly 100 animals. There are cows, geese, and chickens for sale. A cow costs $15, a goose costs $1, and a chicken costs $0.25. He has to buy at least one of each animal and has to spend all his money. What does the butcher buy?
So, there are a lot of possible solutions to this problem, like 3 cows, 41 geese, and 56 chickens, and 6 Cows, 5 Geese, and 20 Chickens. As long as the combination of animals adds up to $100 and includes at least one of each type of animal, it's a valid answer! Congratulations to those who got it correct. Scroll down to the bottom of this newsletter for your special shout-out. Now, it’s time for our ‘What Would the Grandkids Say?’ segment. Today’s term is ‘chef’s kiss’. It’s a delightful expression
of approval. So, if you happen to witness your grandkids perform the ‘chef's kiss’ gesture, it means they are complimenting something. 😘👌
