NEWS UPDATE13 February 2026 Publishers noteOne thing our industry is blessed with is the volume of creative, clever and passionate people who contribute to it. Back in 2023 I had the honour of sitting down for a long chat with Brunswick supremo David Foulkes. At the time, I chose to title that story starting with “In Conversation with …”. Not surprisingly, it attracted huge readership, and as further opportunities have come along, our series “In Conversation with…” has grown tremendously. The readership of these stories remains admirable. These days, it’s not uncommon to have two or three “In conversation …” stories being prepared in the background. It’s no different today, with my guess that we have maybe three stories on the go as I write. Last week, our conversation with Chris Soeters was up there with one of the most read stories in recent times. This week, we chat with Justin Celauro, one of the brilliant minds behind the products that come out of the Dometic stable. This week the BIA is also celebrating National Apprentice week. Admirable, and certainly a key channel for the talent we will need into the future. All going well, some of these apprentices will feature in our future “in conversation ..” stories. Oh – and another thing. Danny has again felt the need for another release and has hit the keyboard again, delivering another one of his typically brilliant, entertaining, and wonderful insights into our history. We do hope you enjoy this week’s news. Marine Business News is an Australian-owned marine industry news service publishing local and international news.
