Good morning, early birds, and happy Saturday! I (Vella) hope everyone had a fabulous week and is ready for a relaxing weekend. What are you all up to today? As for me, I have no grand plans; my feet are still recovering from last week’s adventures, so I’m treating them to a well-deserved rest, but before we go on relaxation mode, let’s reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle:
Hands she has but does not hold, teeth she has but does not bite, feet she has but they are cold, eyes she has but without sight. Who is she?
The answer is a doll! We’re accepting the answers ‘female statue’ and ‘mannequin’, too! If you guessed correctly, scroll down to see your well-deserved shout-out. Next is our 'What Would the Grandkids Say?’ segment. Today’s term is OOMF.
OOMF is an acronym for ‘one of my friends’. It’s used to mention a friend without directly naming them. So next time you talk about a friend to your grandkids, use this term and see how they react!

Today’s blast from the past is thanks to member @Suzanne rose. She brought us back to those Saturday mornings in the '60s when kids woke up early just to catch all the best cartoons on TV. Member @Suzanne rose’s favourites included The Magilla Gorilla Show, The Flintstones, The Beatles, Batfink, The Lone Ranger, and Shazzan! What were your favourite cartoons from back then?
