According to the announcement on the Pinellas County website, they are looking for three individuals to join the Citizen Advisory Committee for the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA). If you're interested in urban development or community planning, consider stepping up. Here's the breakdown: two of these positions offer a full three-year term commencing upon appointment, while the third position fills an existing vacancy that will end on December 31, the committee's role is to provide
guidance on the creation, adjustment, and implementation of the Lealman CRA's redevelopment plans alongside addressing broader issues that influence the area. For those not in the know, the Lealman CRA Advisory Committee was formed to work in concert with the Pinellas County Community Redevelopment Agency, ensuring that redevelopment initiatives align with the community's needs and aspirations. This is not just about zoning and infrastructure—it's about fostering a vibrant, equitable community. The application window is now open; it represents a pivotal moment for residents to get involved with the future enhancements of their community. If you're game to provide valuable insights and advocate for the Lealman community's well-being,
grab an application form and submit it pronto. Your voice could be instrumental in driving positive change and steering Lealman toward a prosperous future. Applications and further details about the committee's responsibilities are available through the Pinellas County website.
Charlie Justice lands small-town support from local Mayors, city leaders
Pinellas County Commissioner Charlie Justice has earned support from two local Mayors and a pair of city leaders as he seeks re-election to the District 3 seat. Justice’s latest endorsers include South Pasadena Mayor Arthur Penny, Gulfport Mayor Sam Henderson and Gulfport City Council members Paul Ray and April Thanos. “I’ve known Charlie for many years and can think of no one better to serve as our County Commissioner,” Penny said. “Charlie listens when you speak, is straightforward in his responses, and has made the prosperity and future of Pinellas
County, its cities, and citizens his number one goal while in office.” Justice is facing opposition from two Republican challengers, who will face off in the August GOP Primary to determine which moves on for the chance to flip Justice’s seat red. Full Article Via Florida Politics

Lealmanimal Meet Rocky! Rocky we believe is 9 years old, we adopted him from a rescue organization when he was almost 1 year old. He loves walks and car rides – he doesn’t like to be bothered when he is really tired – he will try and go to bed by himself. He mainly just likes to be around his mommy and daddy and is happy to go where we go. He loves to eat, is the most politely will remind him that he is nearby when we are eating when he will gently put his paw on our leg to let us know he is close by for any sharing of our food. He loves nearly everything he tries
to eat, but does not like blueberries.
