Keeping you connected with CDU and the wider community No images? Click here Dear , You've probably been keeping up with us on the CDU Alumni Community social page... but let's recap our June/July! In June we travelled to CDU Katherine to celebrate their new graduates! This year saw 35 graduates cross the stage, a huge leap from just nine in 2024. We got to hear some wonderful stories from new alumni, including one international student who fell in love with remote Australia and pursued his Masters in Katherine. In July we ran our first ever Alumni webinar series 'Not in the textbook'! We heard from a global investment CEO, an electrician and advocate for women in trades, founder of a charity, and finally a woman who wears the hats of lawyer, mother, migrant, and published author. An impressive and wonderful group of CDU Alumni with such interesting stories and advice to share. Recordings will be available on our website soon! Last week we hosted our annual Scholarship Celebration. This event brings together scholarship recipients and donors, to connect and celebrate their achievements and support. We welcomed over 130 students, donors, guests and staff; our largest attendance yet! We even had our very own Class of 2025 alumni, Abbey Rapkins, performing for the evening. One final note, as CDU Alumni you have free access to LinkedIn Learning, an online platform with thousands of high quality videos and short courses to support your lifelong learning. You can register for access here. Don't forget to keep in touch, we love to hear from you! Until next time, Your CDU Alumni Team
