Last year, Winter Wednesday was born to help our food & beverage community navigate through the slower season.  The campaign encouraged people to dine out on Wednesdays, offering enticing deals across the state. 

It was a huge success, with more than 50 restaurants, breweries, cafés, and bars joining in and over 23,000 website visits.

This year, we are expanding this program to Winter Weekdays, which gives you the flexibility to choose your slowest day to offer a special promotion. 

• Winter Weekdays will run Monday, January 5 -Thursday, April 30, 2026.
• Check out our Winter Wednesday website from last year here. Our new website for Winter Weekdays is under construction.

NEW THIS YEAR: 

• We will be adding lodging to the Winter Weekdays program. We are encouraging hotels to list mid-week discounts or packages. (Restrictions may apply per your discretion)  

Participation is free; all we ask is that you offer something of value to your guests (a menu special, live music, or a fun weekday deal).

This year's marketing efforts will include a Boston radio campaign to encourage Bostonians to take stay-and-dine trips. 

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is hosting a Jamaica Relief Drive

Many of our fellow coworkers and employees throughout the state come from Jamaica each year, and due to the devastation of Hurricane Melissa many have nothing to go home to. The hospitality industry wants to help in their recovery. 

Join The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa for a Hurricane Melissa Donation Drive Event.

Enjoy food, drinks, and live music by Stream Reggae, all while supporting a great cause.

This event is free to attend. Everyone who donates and joins the event will be entered for a chance to win a $400 Portland Regency Hotel & Spa Gift Card, valid towards rooms, restaurants, or spa services.
