Lancashire Hill Holiday Club

Over the Summer Holidays, the residents of Lancashire Hill ran activities for families and young people. With the help of Forever Manchester and our Customer Engagement Team, the Family Group and volunteers worked together to plan and deliver a range of activities including upcycling clothes, silent disco, cooking and much more!

Watch the video below to hear from the volunteers involved, Forever Manchester and some of the young people who enjoyed a summer of fun!

Pension Credit

What is Pension Credit?

Pension Credit gives you extra money to help with your living costs if you’re
over State Pension age and on a low income. Pension Credit can also
help with housing costs such as ground rent or service charges.

Pension Credit is separate from your State Pension.

You can get pension credit even if you have other income or savings or own your own home.

How much could I get?
Pension Credit is worth, on average, £3,900 a year.

You might get extra help if you’re a carer, severely disabled, or responsible for a child or young person.

You can use the Pension Credit calculator to find out if you’re eligible for Pension Credit and how much you could get.

How do I apply?

You can apply for Pension Credit online.

You can also call the Pension Credit claim line on 0800 99 1234.

Storing and charging electric bikes and scooters

Electric bikes and scooters are becoming increasingly popular. It is important when charging and storing e-bikes and e-scooters, that you do so safely to avoid the risk of a fire starting and putting your families and homes at risk.

Scooters must not be left inside communal areas.

It is clearly stated within your tenancy agreement that you must:

5.24: “Co-operate with us and your neighbours to keep any shared areas clean, tidy and clear of obstructions”.

Click the link below to read some guidance on how to store them safely.
