Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another delightful Wednesday! How’s everyone feeling? It's a bit cold here in Sydney this morning, so I (Vella) feel sluggish. But there's nothing a cuppa won't fix, right? How's the temperature where you are? I hope you have your woolly socks and fluffy blankets on to keep you nice and toasty. 😉
It's good to be back after a long weekend, and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break. As for me, I tried new things, explored new places, and made some unforgettable memories. On Easter Sunday, my family and I went on an Easter egg hunt, and it was so much fun! There’s nothing quite like spending time with family during the Easter long weekend. My friends and I also went camping in an off-road location. And let me tell you, the drive there was a real adventure! It was a rough road meant for 4x4 vehicles only, but we, of course, brought a sedan! Can you imagine? So what was supposed to be a 2-hour drive turned into a 4-hour mission! It's definitely on my 'things I would never do again' list. But despite the stressful drive, it was worth it once we arrived. The crystal-clear river and stunning landscape were absolutely breathtaking. Being surrounded by nature and the company of good
friends can make any experience worthwhile. We spent our time laughing and sharing stories; it was just the break we needed.
Speaking of things we would never do again, I'm curious to hear from you all. What's something you've done in the past that you wouldn't want to do again? Let's make an anti-bucket list! Share them in our forum here.
Now, let’s move on to today's activities. Kicking things off, we have the usual suspects: this week’s Coles, Woolies, ALDI, and IGA deals to make your shopping experience a little lighter on the wallet. Be sure to check them out; there are some fabulous offers you won't want to miss.
Next, we have another riddle to get our grey matter working. Ready? Here it comes:
I'm not clothes, but I cover your body; The more I'm used, the thinner I grow. What am I?
Ooh, a real conundrum, isn't it? If you think you've got the answer to this puzzler, head over to our riddle masters thread here. If you get it correct, we'll give you a well-deserved shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter! (Yes, our riddle masters shout-outs are back on!)
Oh, and one last thing from me before we get into the news. Don't forget to play our newest game: SDC Bingo! Please read Jonathan's instructions first if you're
new to the game. Today's numbers are G58, G55, and N44. Remember, you need an account on the forum to join, so if you don't have one already, register here!
