FUTURE OF GA$
With an estimated 2.1 million homes in NZ, around 287,000 still use natural gas, with another 300,000 using LPG bottles. Seems like a lot but in the last two years, natural gas production has dropped by 35%, and with efforts to find more gas fields coming up empty, the future of gas in NZ is likely to become increasingly costly.

FIRE REBUILD
An electric scooter burnt this flagstaff home to the ground, a sad situation to have to start again but it's given our clients a chance to increase the layout and add another bedroom. We're keen to get this build underway so we can get our clients back into their home as soon as possible.
CONTEMPORARY STUNNER
Another new build in flagstaff is underway. Our designer went to town creating this stunning contemporary design. A 300sqm home featuring 4-bedrooms, 2.5 baths, scullery, duel living areas and covered & exposed decks. Wrapped in a mixture of brick, cedar and dura groove cladding. This one is going to be a stunner!
ANOTHER GRANNY FLAT ROLLS OUT
This 70sqm 2 bed granny flat was loaded up and shipped to Taumarunui recently.
Perfect timing as we will need the space in the yard, with the influx of people signing up to build transportable homes at the moment!

TRANSPORTABLE HOME - JUST ADD GARAGE
This Kiwi 3 home just arrived on site in Thames.
If you’re wondering why the end is covered in ply, there’s a good reason. Once secured on foundations, an internal-access double garage will be built onto it.
Just because we can't transport a garage doesn’t mean you can't have one. Building the garage onsite takes around a month to complete, with minimal disruption, giving you the full internal-access double garage without compromising on your wish list.
Another clever solution that makes transport and onsite construction work seamlessly together.
COLOUR WASHING - WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Our clients went bold with one wash of colour throughout the entire interior, ceiling included! And wow, does it make a statement!
We love the unique and creative ideas our clients come up with. It keeps every project interesting and gives us the opportunity to think outside the box.
Built onsite in Taupiri, our clients chose to modify our Kiwi 3 design to perfectly suit their needs. We love seeing our designs adapted to create a home that’s uniquely theirs. It won’t be long now until they get to move into their brand-new KDH home, they must be absolutely coloured with excitement!

Our lovely clients built a brand-new rental property with us in Raglan.

Maris and Logan chose to build 104sqm 3-bedroom home with some beautiful interior features such as a stone kitchen bench top, plank flooring throughout the living area and a deck to capture the sun and views.
