Please see below for the latest announcements from the Institutional Research and Analytics department at ASEE.
1. 2022 Profiles Survey - Deadline Change
The 2022 Profiles Survey opened on September 19th, 2022. It is accessible via the survey.asee.org site in the My Surveys section. It is called "2022 Four Year Survey".
ASEE's IT servers will be moved in mid-January. In order to accomodate that move, we are extending the deadline for the Profiles 2022 survey until February 15, 2023. While we are working to minimize the disruptions, some services may be offline in late January. We will send another update on January 9th with a more concrete list of possible affected services.
2. 2022 Profiles Survey - Research Expenditures
If you are reporting data to US News for their engineering graduate survey, please submit your spreadsheet with your research expenditure data filled in by January 15, 2023 to ASEE.
We exchange numbers with US News to help resolve any inconsistencies to resolve any issues. We will be releasing a list of institutions who underwent this review process.
3. Preview Reports
We will start posting preview reports for data already submitted by December 20th and then updating each week. These reports will be visible in your https://survey.asee.org accounts.
4. ASEE IRA Phone Numbers and Staffing
The ASEE IRA department is moving to email only contact. Any prior phone numbers for our team are no longer monitored and will be disconnected soon. Please email questions to data@asee.org
Due to restructuring and staff turnover at ASEE HQ, there may be a 1-3 business day delay in response to emails. Thank you for your patience.
There will be limited support available from December 21st to January 3 due to staff leave and holidays.
5. ASEE Salary Survey for 2023
We intend to open the salary survey later this due to operational changes (including moving) at ASEE HQ. We will announce the salary survey details in late January. We will use the same structure and system as last year with no changes and anticipate opening sometime in early February and closing the survey in late April.

There is an online component that is done in your web browser, as well as a spreadsheet, which is available in Section G of the online survey.
The Profiles Survey is open until February 15, 2023. If you need an extension, please let us know.

This is our primary method of direct communication about the surveys. We also post survey statuses on the front page of the survey site itself.
