Wednesday Edition
Hey there, lovely members! Happy Wednesday to you all! How is everyone feeling this morning? I (Vella) hope you’re all having a great morning and are feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. Me? I’m having the time of my life! As you read this newsletter, picture me soaking up the sun and taking a leisurely walk on a stunning white sandy beach in an exotic location. That's right, I'm on a well-deserved holiday with my partner, celebrating our fifth anniversary.
Speaking of fun, let's play a little game. We’ll call it ‘Where in the world is Vella?’ I've attached a picture of my current location to our game thread here, and your task is to guess which country I am in. I’ll give you one clue: It’s in Asia! There are loads of
beautiful beaches in Asia, so this game is a bit challenging, but I'm sure you've got what it takes to figure it out... Okay, fine, let me give you another clue about the place. This place is more than just your typical tropical paradise. Sure, it has all the classic elements like stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, but it's also home to a diverse landscape that includes lush jungles, steep limestone cliffs, and gorgeous inlets. The place I'm in is also known for its mouth-watering delicacy called Nido soup, made of edible bird’s nests. So, have you figured out where I am yet? Keep those guesses coming in!
Now, I don’t want to make you all jealous. 😉 So, as you guess where I am, why not share your own travel photos in the thread? It'll be like a mini-virtual trip around the world! Plus, we could all use a little escapism right now. I can't wait to read your guesses and see your stunning travel snaps!
Anyhow, that's enough from me. Let's move on to today’s activities. First off, we’ve got your weekly deals from Coles, Woolworths, ALDI, and IGA. There are some great bargains in store this week, so don't miss out!
And, of course, we’ve also got our second riddle of the week for you. Here’s an interesting one to get those brain juices flowing:
You can see me in water, but I never get wet. What am I?
Oooh, this one's a doozy! Think you can solve it? Head on over to our riddle masters thread here to give it a try. Anyone who gets the answer correct will be rewarded with a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter!
